What i’ve done
Worked as a 1st Team and Basecamp PA on NBC’s family comedy, “Kenan” (season one).
January 2020 - June 2020
I spent my last semester of college “Abroad” in Los Angeles and interned full-time for Ellen Degeneres at her company, Ellen Digital Ventures. I worked closely with the Development, Production, and Social team. As part of my responsibilities, I researched and wrote scripts for 5 episodes of the Yahoo! series, Reality Star Showdown. During work-from-home, I had the opportunity to work directly with the Development Executive on creating pitch decks, attend brainstorms, as well as pitch my own ideas.
In my final year at Boston University I worked as the Editor-in-Chief for BU’s online food magazine, TasteBUds. I was in charge of the operations of our magazine and manage the workflow of our entire staff. I also was in charge of our video creation for our video series: Peek in The Kitchen (PiTK). As head of the video department, I worked to train our crew and direct the video shoots while on set for PiTK.
The first two years at TasteBUds I was the social media editor, working to post the latest content onto our Instagram page (@TasteBU) and encourage interaction with our website’s articles.
In the summer of 2019, I was a Strategy intern at FKA (formerly, MRY), a subsidiary of Publicis Media, in NYC. I led the production of the agency’s weekly industry trend web show, MemeGirls. I was selected to creative produce and edit MemeGirls for the remainder of the internship after hitting a record amount of views and an overwhelming response from the debut “Intern Takeover” episode. I drove monthly content production by providing industry expertise for the Audible brand as well as conducted category and competitive research to keep clients informed on industry trends in advertising.
In the spring of 2019, I worked as the Video Intern at the start-up app cooking app company, SideChef, in Shanghai, China. I worked in the culinary studio department which consisted of myself and three other employees. I helped lead the production of our cooking videos as well as edited photo content for our app and social media accounts.
In the fall of 2018, I worked as a TV & Video Intern at America’s Test Kitchen in Boston, MA. My daily tasks included keeping the America’s Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country IMDb pages up to date; helping set up, shoot, break down video sets; editing selects; and other various video production tasks.
In the 2017-2018 school year, I worked as the Co-Producer for the 6th season of the BUTV10 show, COED. Boston University's mockumentary-style television show that runs on the local network as well as online. As producer, I organized weekly meetings with the writers' team as well as plan the video shoots including recruiting a crew, securing locations, and creating call sheets.
In the spring of 2018, I worked as one of the Video Directors for the largest student-run advertising agency in the world for both not-for-profit and corporate clients.
